课程时间：上午9:00-12pm

目的：和外教练习地道英语口语，培养阅读的能力
年龄：5-7岁，需要经过我们这里的外教测试通过才可以进班。

地点：望京西园一区120楼邮局3层

要求：具有一定英语基础的孩子

链接里面我们大致从以下4个部分做个简单说明，课程设置，课程目标和内容，课程书籍运用，课程范文解读，帮助家长们了解我们一节课的主要内容。因为是外教写的，因此如果有不明白的家长朋友们，请周六上午过来学校咨询江老师，李老师！

Beginner Comprehensive Class

Class Description:

For the Beginner class our goal is to introduce students into a English learning environment. We will be doing a variety of reading, writing, and speaking exercises, all designed to acclimate students on how to learn in English.

Class Goals:
Students will be learning Intermediate Level:

·Reading comprehension (recognizing common basic words: is, are, this, etc.)

·Listening (Listening to others speaking English)

·Phonics (Covering basic phonics rules while reading)

·Capitalization (when to capitalize words)

·Vocabulary (learning new words)

·Using vocabulary (constant use of new words and not just when asked)

·Group discussion (students will practice speaking basic sentences to each         other: “How are you?” “What did you eat?”)

·Interest & Comfortable (getting kids to be interested in and comfortable speaking English.

PrimaryBooks:

·The Eclectic Reader book 1

·GreenChannel 1 & Green Channel 2

The Eclectic Reader1 is a fantastic book to introduce kids to a basic English sentence structure and common English words.

Green Channel books are excellent books for introducing new vocabulary words and learning how to use them.

Example Lesson:

Today, we will be starting by learning a little phonics. We will learn about: short a, short o, and double e (see). Then we will read the passage and the students will practice being able to see the words and know how to say them.

While reading， each student will be encouraged to try and sound out as many words on their own. The teacher will be correcting them when they get it wrong.

Passage: 



After reading the passage we will:

First,we will list all of the words that have a short “a” sound and speak them again for practice.

Second,we will sing a song using words that have the short “a” sound to help the kids practice the short “a” sound.

Third,we will read the second story and do the same thing with that story (discuss the short “o” sounds and speak them again).

Fourth,we will play musical chairs. Every time the students don’t have a chair 

to sit down they have to read a sentence from one of the stories we read.

Fifth,we will use the words we learned today and write our own sentences together as a class.

These are just a few examples of the many different activities students will complete. 

Summary: 

At the end of the semester students will be more interested in English, will be more comfortable speaking to people in English, reading basic English words, recognizing how to sound out words,and understanding spoken English from the teacher and others

The teacher will be motivating students to make them interested in English and encouraging them to speak more.
