Introduction:  We will start by greeting each other and going over the rules for class.

Pizza  Ingredients Time: The  class will learn about the different ingredients that we will use to make our  pizza later. The teacher will write the words for each ingredient on the  board and use flash cards for a visual aid to help the kids understand. After  the kids know the words, the teacher will give them a sentence to use the  words in, such as, “The Pizza sauce is red.”

Fun  Game Time: We will take a short break for the students to run around and have  fun while playing a game that encourages them to speak English.

Pizza  Coloring Time: During this time, each student will draw out their own pizza  and identify the different toppings and ingredients as we complete each  picture. Ex: “Draw a pepperoni”, “This is a Pepperoni.”

Snack  Time: We will take the students to wash their hands and then to the activity  room for a light snack.

Song  Time: We’ll take the time to learn and sing “Pizza Man” as a class. First,  we’ll go over the words to get some foundation for the students and we’ll  sing the song afterwards.

Pizza Video / Q&A: We will watch a  short video on how to make a pizza to give the kids a visual reference and  then talk to the students about their thoughts.

Making  a Pizza Pie!

We’ll  go over the ingredients to make sure the students remember the names, hands  them out, put all the toppings onto our pizza, and then cook it to eat!
